Sampada is one of the first designers to work with ekibeki and one of the key members of the team. Her designs are always inspirational and a number of times have managed to surprise some of the artisans that have been working with those crafts for ages.
A Masters degree holder from the prestigious Rochester Institute of Technology [USA], Sampada has also spent a significant amount of time living and working in the villages of local Indian Artisans. With her International exposure, Sampada brings a new rigor to design processes of artisans and introduces them to new production techniques. Lifestyle products design, Interior design, crafts are her area of expertise and says that bamboo, copper and wrought iron are her favorite materials to work with.
